Appreciate your case studies. Made me think of circa 2001, White Supremacy Culture: http://www.cwsworkshop.org/PARC_site_B/dr-culture.html
The first on the list: Perfectionism
-hardest on Black women & anyone outside the legacy image of Mad Men - and unnecessary, toxic, hyper-stress for everyone but the top (and eventually them as well, having to maintain fear-based power)
The last on the list: Right to Comfort
And who has this right?
"the belief that those with power have a right to emotional and psychological comfort"
It took a pandemic to prove how ridiculous it always was. Relics will persist. The exposure started the change.
